Work experience

I guess my whole vacation can be spent on making money, and spending it even faster than before the pay comes. Gee gee gee. This is what happens when you shop during GSS and whatever I bought just happens to belong to the "NETT price or non-discountable" list. Sickening. Mango sale so disappointing lor all the good shit all taken/bought by the lucky people liaoz. haiiiz. Anyways, am currently working in some finance company which is quite well-known if you look at newspapers and advertisements but i dun wanna kena any problems so better dun say... hahaha

which is where i am gonna start on talking about how much i learn frm this company. ahh. the company's culture is very much like a big family working in various depts is like working in a team all striving together. nonetheless, there are still teams who does not have the team spirit, and there are politics everywhere too. which is why i love working, u learn more EQ than IQ man. i made many new friends, though not very close but at least you get to interact and adapt to different lifestyles, cultures and working style. yes, working styles do exist man. so wad if its routine work it still involves STYLO milo... hahaha. aniwae, my job aint monotonously boring. it does require some maths and knowledge on excel formulas. stuff that i din learn in sch, stuff that i learnt via internet research and from my team leaders, and colleagues. its all about learning to work happily, work cordially to achieve the target. now i finally understood why we had to embrace Organizational cultures, why the need to reinforce the understanding of that basics in a company. I like the fact that my company believes in the overall well being of every worker because they tend to host sessions to break the ice between various depts, making sure all work is only achieved based on interacting with various depts everywhere. From the time i started working, I've moved to 3 different seats, and each time, I performed different work requirements, and learnt to adjust my temperaments according to how i observed my colleages around me. well, i wun say i like every single one of them but aiya, its what i realise that lookin forward to work everyday makes me understand the fact that working life is only sucky if you don't enjoy what you are doing. so, im even more certain that working in the business world is more suitable for me as i feel the need to interact, the need to absorb as much business terms and operations that i find really refreshing to learn about. i always felt that working in an IT company will always be lookin at the screen doing things that are related to your own, not bothering much about what others are doing unless the specifications are not discussed or thoughts are not being conveyed. however, in this finance company what I've learn is that beyond the 2 levels of 200 over staffs, there are still boundaries, there are various and many levels of bureaucracy in the company's organization structure, but everyone is still united as one in meeting the target of our company. which they did managed to mit lah.

so this company is like a power culture mixed with person culture. i really hope i get to work in a business org again in future because i enjoyed absorbing the various differences i discover whenever i work in a different environment. though i admit im a person who's against changes initially but i adapt and get used to it rather easily lah. okayyy. thats wad i had to ramble abt. no one should be bored becos no one reads it. :P bye for now!
