Technological Wrecker
It's true that with the help of modern technology, our work has been well improved lah. We get to msn, save millions of pictures taken with friends outside with the help of a digital camera, surf on handphones and pdas, but what happens when all these items break down? We'll end up feeling like we've lose a hand or a leg I tell you.
I don't know why as an IT student myself, I still don't embrace new gadgets like a geek who will go "Hooray! A new item for me to use that will help me!" My parents are pleased with my behaviour cause they know they won't have to fork out money at all as I do not have such expensive desires or the need to own them. hah. My dad yesterday even urged me to get a MP3 player but I really don't see the reason why I should. I retorted back to dad: "I got discman what, then can play so many CD not so laychey must on computer and load so much crap inside. And I don't hear so many chap-pa-lang music at one go lor, I listen to one singer at a time." Daddy said... "Eh you are worse than your father you know, at least I rather get a more high tech handphone with MP3 player in it and I appreciate the never-ending improvement made to technology..." Hiakz. Whatever it is, I don't want to burden myself with endless questions the minute I buy a new gadget it is a headache for me to learn how to use it. I purposely bought a cheap and easy to use digicam with no brand cause I tried to use a Canon powershot and failed to learn how to use it effectively lor. Aiya, hard for me to change if I like something that is easy to use.
Anyway, I just want to conclude that I've lost a hand and a leg now. My laptop went bonkers on me by removing the files I save in "MY DOCUMENTS" and "MY PICTURES", and it failed to load the profile or my user account, and my operating systems sometimes cannot load. Aiya, sibei cham leh when such things strike I feel helpless cause I study how to make computer programs, but not study how to repair computers mah. Now even my internet addresses all the URL history also gone cannot remember those blog address I visit then die ah... Well, sorry if I don't update often lah huh. I'm gonna find the IBM helpdesk number and sent the damn thing for repair man. and I can't seem to find the receipts that I have leh. hahhhh. but the IBM did serve me well for 3 years, its high time he starts to break down. see wad i mean? buy so expensive thing end up oso can spoil... might as well buy clothes ahhh... can last longer... hahaha!
Okay my handphone oso spoil lah, but this time is when I answer my phone I can hear the person clearly, but the fella on the other line keeps saying "Hello, you tok veri soft i cannot hear you can you please speak up?" I'm literally have to scream into my mouth piece everytime i answer the phone and everyone on mrt will tink im some ah lian looking for pple to find someone to cut the head lidat. I suffering with that phone for 2 wks already. cannot tahan lah today must send for repair. if must pay money to repair i decide to get the cheap cheap flip phone from samsung that X640 or X460 i don't remember those damn numbers lah. with the increasing amount of mobile thefts, lemme tell u, i wan to prevent such things happening to me cos i am already veri paranoid when im alone going home at nite. hahah.. and now if you know me well enough, i don't wan pda wanna be hp cos i duno how to operate it, i dun wan mp3 player or camera type of hp cos i already haf discman and basic digicam, so i wan a damn simple to use phone with a colorscreen cos i dun wan pple to laff at me and tink im frm a stone age era hahaha. and i wan LCD infront of the flip fone so that i know which idiot is calling me before picking up. and i like to go "hello XXX" instead of just "hello." haiyahhh.. i love my current fone so much, why must it break down on me? i have so many idiots telling me to change a new phone since my 2 year plan has long been gone and over... but i cant find a easy to use and pretty fone lor. i hate nokia ok dont ask me buy that stupid brand. always keypad spoil and my bf use abt 1 year 4 mths tell me his phone suddenly shut off when second line cum in. siao boh? haha all i can say is ah.... I'm a gadget wrecker. I wreck whatever I use so I wan to keep things cheap so that when it spoils or lost, me no heart pain.

Sales are picking up at this point!
The Sale that I've been waiting for ages.
After helping out with Paul's moving out for like 2 weeks or so, I realised I've not done much shopping. I have not bought a single piece of cloth for 3 weeks! *gasp*
Mango sale started yesterday. Knowing that if I don't go I sure cannot sleep and feel "gek", I rushed down to Centrepoint's Mango because I knew that Taka's sure very full and very chaotic. Wah lao, I've to say, when it comes to sale ah, especially good and nice clothes sale, Singaporean charboh really very hiong 1. I went at around 430pm. Din know so fast got working adults come after work I thought usually 5 or 530 then finish work! Arghhh, they must be eat snake and rush in just to get some good bargains. But this season alot of shirts and trousers lah, so I advise those who working liao need more clothes should go there get. Most of them nudge and push while I dig patiently for nice tops, but after trying 10 tops I realise all like crap on me I think because most of the tops are on the ground like some leh-long place lidat. And the aircon machiam not working plus there are extra fans around too. Manage to find a nice 3/4 jeans and a mini skirt lah. The damage wasn't so bad and I tell myself, "NEXT TIME MUST GO VERY EARLY IN THE MORNIN WHEN NOT MUCH PEOPLE AROUND!" hahaha. And bring a friend along cause with 2 peeps you can dig through the pile easier. This time I have to say ah, Mango clothes no longer have the attractive quality like in the past liao lah.
Ooh btw today Topshop, Dorothy Perkins, and U2 are having a sale i think. Too bad I jitao very sian I heck lah. Its fate and even if you find a nice top I'm sure wadever the price you still will pay 1 lor. Just that with the price cheaper will ease you into deciding faster with the purchase nia. Heh.

The right time to start looking for the ideal partner
For the ones who wish to get married, regardless of sex gender, this is for you.
When we were little, we always watched drama series that show all the working adults engaging in love relationships, such is not a common sight anymore. The Singapore that we are living in now has already started dating galore since we were 12 years old. Even primary school children know the meaning of how to start
"going steady". Lol. *guffaws* Like how they know what is love man...
In my opinion, if you want to have a good career or if you want to work in a career where most of your time will be devoted to work, I think you should find a partner when you are between 19 - 24. That's probably when some of you will be starting a new job, and probably the responsibilities of a job are not high enough to keep you in the office working till 9 or 10pm. Back in the days at NCS when I was having my attachment, many high ranks had to work till like 9 - 11pm at night. How are you gonna date a guy at the night time man? He don't need work ah? He also need to sleep early and gear up for his job the next day mah! This is why you need to confirm a good partner when you are younger! When you end work, he can pick u up or vice versa, and just grab a quick dinner at your home or his or outside and rush home! Any small amount of time spent is well cherished and sufficient what. Cause you don't have to waste time talking about your hobbies, your own introduction about yourself that the fella you date have to find out about you. Instead, you focus on how's your day and how's his day and gossip and chit chat about some crap lah. Simple and easy conversation! In the IT line that is, you must be prepared to lose sleep over projects. That's not a very uncommon sight right friends? Hmm, so start searching for a partner when you are free! When you are studying, you lose a guy you cannot stand, that's fine, there's a plenty of fishes outside in the school to see too! You can club and meet new guys, you hang out with your girlfriends' friends who can be men too.
Many of you would say "Can find a fella in workplace too!". But how many workplaces in Singapore do allow relationships to bloom in work environment? I think their policy might not be flexible enough to let you have an affair sia, and what's worse, if kena find out, you might lose your job! Who will want to fall in love with a man like 10 years your senior! Or even start having an affair with a married man! We cannot let that happen! So, start to gao-dim your love life, then gao-dim your career, cause that very steady steady long long boyfriend of yours should most likely be the one who will support you when you are scaling greater heights in your career path!
Erm, of course such things need fate and destiny and being at the right place at the right time to see the right guy. But, at least give yourself more chances to see, seek and meet! I bet the government will love my article cause I believe that every Singaporean should be entitled to having a blissful family life, with a good career too mah! Say goodbye to low marriage rates! Say goodbye to low coupling rates! Say goodbye to lonely old folks and old folk's homes and single room blocks
(eg. those in Braddell got those old folk stay alone there kind) if you listen and try my idea!
Start walking/shopping more often! Start being more friendly and smiley and establish close friends' ties! Friends are the ones who will give you a good time outside and also the right ones who will keep you happy most of the time. Being positive and happy, you will have a glow on your face and you will meet nice people too!

I'm so lazy to blog. But there are something to say...
Yeah, this journal's good in a way so that when I'm old I'll laugh out loud at the crazy things or rather, how I grew up.
Yeap, today or rather, yesterday, I reflect on these past few months of what I did and realise, *gulp* I've grown up a little.
At 20 years of age,
I've did the following matters that made me realise, I can accept a hell lot of scarier things.
- Seen a funeral, visited a funeral before. Though my fortune teller says cannot go lah, but its my grandfather's wad. and that was when i was sec 1 lah. and visited my best fren's grand dad funeral before too.
- Accompanied my grandma for a check up but this time round, they checked her colon, intestines, and stomach, and she had to be under anaethesia for awhile. Gee, after her check up, the doc did find something like inflamation and bacteria in the stomach, and 2 tiny polyps in the colon. But no worries, she should be fine lah, according to the doctor... Now our prayers will be that her polyps are benign, not cancerous 1 lor... After the gastroscopy, she slept on the operating theatre's bed and was bloody giddy and groggy. She had needles in her and that was the 1st time I've seen my grandma looking so vulnerable. Part of me wanted to cry, cause I had always had the impression that my gran's like dragon lady, always shouting and hollering at me if I did any wrong. In fact, she's like the most strict to me in this family lah, she manipulates the WHOLE family I tell u. later she kinda woke up and wanted to change, and I was the only one in the changing room with her, I had to pretend I didn't see any stretch marks, cellulite and lose my breakfast *LOL*, okay, and she wanted to PUKE. IMAGINE a 20 year old gal who didn't see anyone puke infront of her but HERSELF. hahaha. yesh, its freaking disgusting lah, and i see her puke I look like the guy in "My Sassy Girlfriend" who wanted to puke too when the lead actress puke over the guy's head. Eww. Okay, since she's sick, I also vacumned the house, and take care of myself. Something which I haven't done before. haha.
- I dare say I dare to go out alone at night. hahaha. I am SCARED of going home alone at around 11 onwards cause of the lurking dark side of Singaporeans; You'll never know how many psychos or rapists are around your neighbourhood. And god damn the fact that my frens may scare me whenever I go home at night. Ghosts, and such spirits I may see. AHHHH I HATE U GUYS! hahah
- I've packed my house! I've helped packed Paul's house too! They are moving out so I went over this whole week (well almost) to help pack his stuff. Jesus CHRIST! Singapore's god damn small i tell u. I was looking at his primary school yearbook and I found CHANG FONG HSIEN FRANCIS (my poly classmate of T11) who was paul's bosom buddy for 6 years in Swiss Cottage Primary!!!!!! Oh god!! I WAS LIKE " WAD THE HELL!! U NOE CHANG FONG HSIEN?!!! OMG!!!" den hes like... "YEAHHH!!!" and his mom butt in and said "Ehhh fong hsien was his best fren in pri sch!! hes so dumb, got once i saw him run and bump his head into the wall and the baluku was soo big and black! i demand the teacher go n send him go hospital scan xray see got damage his brain anot... " now we know why francis talks retardly.... :P hah and PAul never knew of fong hsien's existance becos they lost contact after they went to different sec sch!! ahh let me tok abt scandalous fong hsien. He may look veryy guai ah, but he's not!! he may look nerdy ah, but there's something more abt him u nv noe abt!!
FRANCIS (aka fong hsien in pri sch) used to cut out pictures of girls in newspapers! Wad kind of pictures? Pictures of women wearing bra, bikini or slimming ads! cos they show the figures of them and he brought them to sch and shared with paul! at pri 5, fong hsien has already seen porn and described to paul wad it looks like! he said "i was like, Eh? the women look so BlAH 1 leh. nothing like us! they no long thing, they got nothing there! only look disgusting leh!" hahaha and u noe where he keep pictures of those half naked bodies women??? IN AN ANG PAO!!!!! A RED PACKET is given to you for chinese new yr and for good luck and its supposed to contain money! he go put that sort of shit in it! liew!! hahahah! i dun care wad im writing since hes nt reading my blog anyway! but thats wad paul told me lah! so funny!
Let me dig around for his picture. Oh no i dun haf scanner cant scan class photo. ARGHH! I'm sure you have seen this hum sap lo before.
People can change lah, I'm sure he did change a hell lot ah! He talks like a robot which is exactly like Paul (now we know how their connection is) and he is quite nice to talk to lor... He's not arrogant but i think diane has a hell lot more to say abt him lah.. the bad stuff not the good ones. why dont i get diane to give a lil comment abt the good things abt francis in my tagboard. haha. but okay lah, just not somebody i will marked "HATE U" on.
I can't tink of anything else I did that I think I've mature a little. LOL. So mebe I should do a lil update when im 23 or sth. hehhh.
